STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TIME TRIAL WRAPUP

The 2011 TN State Championship Time Trial is now in the books. A record crowd of 147 riders competed in the largest State TT in over 10 years, and 15 riders walked away with State Championship Time Trial jerseys.

A special congratulations goes out to John Hart (Friends Great Smokies) and Marda Kaiser Rehnelt (Marx & Bensdorf Cycling / ACCM) for the fastest male/female times in the 40k. Matthew Russell (TCRC Juniors p/b Anytime Fitness) and Megan Rogers (Mystique Cycling Team / SCV) had the best male/female times in the 20k. In the 10k race, 14 year old Jonathan Brown (Hot Tubes Development Team) finished with an average speed of over 26 mph to take top honors.
