STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TIME TRIAL WRAPUP
The 2011 TN State Championship Time Trial is now in the books. A record crowd of 147 riders competed in the largest State TT in over 10 years, and 15 riders walked away with State Championship Time Trial jerseys.

STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TIME TRIAL PREVIEW RIDE
As part of her research studies on bone density in male cyclists (see prior news item for details), Shannon Mathis will be hosting a preview ride of the 2011 TN State Championship Time Trial course in Murfreesboro on Saturday, May 21st.
Breakfast will be provided at the pre-ride testing, and after the ride lunch will be served at Casa de Mathis across the street from the MTSU Lab.

The NashvilleCyclist.com promoted Gateway Tire & Service Criterium Series opens tomorrow (Wed, May 11th) in Nashville. The 15 race series features 13 Wednesday night criteriums and a Saturday and Sunday race on the July 2/3 weekend.

MOUSETAIL CHALLENGE POSTPONED DUE TO STORMS
Due to the recent storms, Mousetail Landing is closed so that the rangers can clean up the park. The local clubs also have quite a bit of work to do on the trail in order to restore it to race conditions. Because of this, the Mousetail Challenge TT and XC races originally scheduled for May 21/22 have been rescheduled for July 23/24.
