CYCLING CAMP - APR 26-28, 2013

Endeavor Performance is offering a three-day camp for new racers or anyone who is interested in competitive cycling. The camp is open to both men and women, and will be held in Sewanee TN from April 26-28, 2013.

There isn't a clear process on how to "learn" to race so the objective of this cycling camp is to introduce beginner competitive cyclists fundamental topics to race their bikes. The camp will balance classroom and ride time with scheduled presentations allowing for ample time to ask questions. Topics include basic physiology, goal setting, training regime, race-day nutrition and race strategy. Three training rides are planned to work on pack riding skills, sprint and climb technique so skill critique will occur.

The camp will be located at St. Mary's in Sewanee TN, just about and hour and fifteen minutes southeast of Nashville. St. Mary's sits atop the Cumberland Plateau so there will be opportunities to climb and opportunities to ride in the valley's flat terrain. The camp's fee includes lodging for two nights, well-prepared meals, fellow commaradie and weekend access to the coaches. Lodging consists of double occupancy. Single occupancy is available at an additional cost. The camp begins with a group dinner at 6pm on Friday and ends with a group lunch at 1pm.

The camp cost is $350, and again, the camp is all inclusive.

The complete camp flyer and registration information can be found on the USA Cycling website here.
