2014 TBRA MOUNTAIN BIKE SCHEDULE RELEASED

The 2014 TBRA Mountain Bike schedule features many of the traditional TN dirt events and venues, as well as one new one and a few that will not be returning this year.

2013 TN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP CYCLOCROSS

The 2013 TN State Championship race was held today in Chattanooga, and when the mud had settled, these twelve riders took home state championship jerseys.

TBRA ANNUAL MEETING (Dec 8, 2013)

UPDATE: The meeting location will be in the 4th floor boardroom at First Tennessee bank in Cookeville (345 South Jefferson Ave. Cookeville, TN 38501).

UPDATE: Award winners from the 2013 road and mountain bike series will be able to pick up their awards at the meeting.

The TBRA annual meeting will be held at 3:30pm CT on Sunday Dec 8th, 2013 in Cookeville, TN following the MOAB cyclocross race. The formal meeting agenda will be announced shortly.

JOHN AND BARBARA RIGBY TO RETIRE

TBRA will like to thank John and Barbara Rigby of Knoxville for their years of service to the cycling community. The Rigby's have been USA Cycling Officials since 1996 and have elected to retire from that position at the end of 2013. Rumor has it that they have traded their stock of 97 blue shirts for several cases of British tea. Whether we see them on the sidelines next year drinking tea or not, we would again like to thank them for all their hard work throughout the years.

2013/2014 TN CYCLOCROSS REGIONAL SERIES

The long awaited and slightly belated details of the new TN cyclocross regional series are finally here. Thank you for your patience as we make major changes to the traditional single state-wide series that we have run in the past.

As we announced earlier, there will be multiple (five to be exact) regional series, each with their own point series competition. The five series will be based in each of the five major TN cyclocross markets; Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Tri-Cities.
