A message from Vicki Mackzum:

Hi everyone - I have finally heard from many of you on the annual meeting. Several people were going to be out of town most of February, so I did not schedule it in February. There are many things that we need to discuss at the meeting.

*** USAC now has a minimum number of officials for all disciplines. It is important that we look at this and stick to the chart. For road, it will not mean many changes at all, but it definitely means changes for cyclocross and mountain bike races.

*** There has also been a change in how assignments are done. I have asked for us to be given some leeway with this and would like to discuss this and get input from you. If you have not gone to http://www.usac-officials.org to give your preference for the races this year, please go and do that before the meeting. We will use this website for all assignments this year.

*** Another change is the pay scale this year.

Cat C Clinic

If you know anyone who would like to become an official, please have them contact me at Vicki Mackzum for the clinic. Also remember to tell them the test for this is open book. I know several of you indicated knowing people who wanted to join the group.

Cumberland Classic; March 3/4

I am needing officials to work the Cumberland Classic Race in Nashville on March 3 & 4th. Please indicate on the official's page if you are available. It is a college/training race.
