TN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP CYCLOCROSS RACE ANNOUNCED
The TBRA Cyclocross Championship Race will be returning to Middle Tennessee for the 2012-2013 season. The TBRA Cyclocross Director, in consultation with the TBRA Championship Selection Committee, has selected the December 16 cyclocross race, presented by UpHillGrind Productions and Road Less Traveled, as the host of the 2012-2013 Cyclocross Race State Championship.
“UpHillGrind Productions is very excited to have been selected to promote the Tennessee State Cyclocross Championship for the 2012 season,” said promoter Brian Gant. “We have received some great feedback from the 2011 championship race and look to bring an even better racer experience to the 2012 edition.”
The December 16 date will also mark the last day of the TBAR points competition, bringing the season to a dramatic close as riders race not only for a championship jersey, but the TBAR jersey as well. TBRA directors will be onsite to award both championship and TBAR jerseys.
While the race is open to all racers holding an annual or one-day USA Cycling license, only Tennessee residents will be eligible for the championship jersey and medals.
